DISPENSATION FOR LAID UP CONDITION---PANAMA
I Purpose and advantages: To provide convenience to match ship's operating conditions and reduce shipowners' manpower and operating costs. The salary of officer is usually three times that of rating, and during the suspension period, part of the sailors on duty can meet the requirements. Generally, only 3-5 people are required according to the status of the ship.
II Application procedure: 1) According to require of the ship, apply for registration certificate with the remark “LAY UP”.
2) Provide shipowner's statement: the geographic location of the ship's docking has been confirmed, and how long period to prepare for docking.
3) Shipyard or port declaration: to confirm the actual situation and location of the ship's docking.
4) Approval application form
5) Ship safety management certificate
6) Additional requirements made by flag and class according to the status of the ship.
