SPECIAL FLAGGING – ASSIGN OF OFFICIAL NUMBER

REQUIREMENTS:

1. An original and a copy of the letter of appointment of resident agent granted by the shipowner, it should be duly authenticated. (Proxy).

2. A copy of the Builder’s Certificate or the Shipyard Letter.

3. Any other additional document required by the General Directorate of Merchant Marine.

SPECIAL THREE MONTHS REGISTRATION

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Letter of appointment of resident agent granted by the shipowner, it should be duly authenticated.

2. An original or a certified copy of the ownership title on the vessel:

a. Builder’s Certificate / Acceptance of transfer duly authenticated – if newly built.

b. Bill of Sale/Acceptance of Sale duly authenticated.

c. Deletion Certificate duly authenticated.

Any other additional document required by the General Directorate of Merchant Marine.

These documents shall be presented in original or simple copy version altogether with the registration request. When simple copies are presented their originals shall be presented within a thirty-day term.
